LADY DEATHSTRIKE Real Name: Yuriko Oyama Affiliation: The Reavers Powers: Cyborg, Adamantium Skeleton and Claws
Lady Deathstrike is a foe of the X-Men, especially Wolverine. Her father Lord Dark Wind created the adamantium-bonding process that was forced on Wolverine by Weapon X. A self-styled warrior, Lady Deathstrike hired the villain Spiral’s "body shoppe" to bond adamantium to her own skeleton in addition to other cyber-genetic enhancements. She has since worked as a mercenary and assassin and feels a need to prove herself by killing Wolverine.
Lady Deathstrike is a cyborg with augmented strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reflexes. Her skeleton has been artificially laced with molecules of the metal Adamantium, rendering her bones virtually unbreakable. Deathstrike is able to cybernetically interface her consciousness with external computer systems, allowing for direct data access to her brain's memory centers and granting her the ability to remotely operate such systems. Deathstrike's cybernetic systems also include a self-repair and reconfiguration program, allowing her to automatically repair damage to her cyborg body. The more damage she endures, the longer her reconfiguration program will take to repair her body.
Lady Deathstrike's fingers have all been replaced with one-foot-long Adamantium claws, which she is capable of telescoping to twice their original length. She is a supremely skilled martial artist, considered an expert in the art of Kenjitsu and other samurai warrior skills. She is an accomplished pilot of various aircraft and seacraft, and is fluent in both Japanese and English.
When Wolverine and the Muir Island New Mutants travelled to Cairo in November 1989 to search for Storm, they were attacked by Lady Deathstrike and several Reavers at the Mosque of Ibn Tulun. Joule hurled Lady Deathstrike across the city, allowing the heroes to escape.

CALIBAN Real Name: Unknown Affiliation: Apocalypse; Formerly the Morlocks Powers: Psionic Mutant Detection, Strength Boost, Fear Emotion Absorption
With a physical mutation that gave him white skin, no hair and bulging large yellow eyes, Caliban was unable to live among the rest of society. His name comes from a character in William Shakespeare's "The Tempest." During the height of anti-mutant sentiment in America, Caliban was one of many outcast mutants who resorted to living in the deserted underground tunnels of New York. As a Morlock, Caliban was an essential asset and was often used by their leader, Callisto, because of his tracking abilities to help locate more mutants to join their underground community. His personality was almost child-like, and Caliban would always talk in the third-person, referring to himself as 'Caliban' instead of 'me' or 'I'.
Caliban is able to psionically sense the presence of other mutants within a 25 mile radius of himself. Originally, Caliban was able to increase his strength to superhuman levels and absorb fear-generated psionic energy from fear radiated by others, turning it against them when his adrenalin levels rose.
When the Muir Island New Mutants explored the Sunken Pyramid of Cult Akkaba beneath Cairo, they found that Caliban had joined a group of mutants who worshiped Apocalypse and awaited his return.

However, an explosion transformed him into his current state, and Apocalypse turned him into his eternal slave, oracle, and scribe. Ozymandias would for centuries remain behind the scenes and chronicle his master's journeys and battles, including other future events.
The Muir Island New Mutants met Ozymandias when they descended into Apocalypse's Sunken Pyramid beneath Cairo. He forced them to fight the Four Horseman in order to prove their worthiness, before he would tell them where Storm was. THE HELLIONS
The Hellions was a team of adolescent mutants being trained in the use of their superhuman powers by Emma Frost, the White Queen of the Hellfire Club. The members of the Hellions all registered as students at the Massachusetts Academy, a private school located in Snow Valley in the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts. Frost was headmistress of the school and it was here that she secretly trained the Hellions in using their powers. It was Frost's intention that the Hellions, when fully trained, would serve the interests of the Hellfire Club's Inner Circle, which seeks to amass political and economic power through both legal and illegal means. However, the individual Hellions varied in their motivations, and not all of them leaned towards criminality.
When the Muir Island New Mutants entered the Library of Thoth, while tracking Storm, they were attacked by the Hellions, who appeared to be working with the Goblyn Queen.
